A 15th-century château of your own in the Chinon vineyards — vineyard rides, garden châteaux, long dinners by a private chef, and nothing at all to organize.
Somewhere between the Loire and the Vienne, five kilometers from the royal town of Chinon, there's a small 15th-century château surrounded by vineyards. For this retreat, it's ours — the whole thing.
Mornings are slow. There's coffee in the veranda with the garden just outside, and a heated pool set apart among the vines when you want it. Days are spent riding through Chinon's vineyards, wandering the great châteaux and their gardens, tasting wine where it's made, and learning to cook the food of the region together.
Evenings are long, candlelit, and cooked for you. And because every detail is arranged before you land — including your ride from the airport — the only thing left to do is be here, together.
An authentic 15th-century château in the heart of the Chinon vineyards, privately ours for the week — historic character with every modern comfort quietly taken care of.

Ride out through the vineyards with the hills doing none of the work, into the royal town of Chinon — and taste the reds it's known for, at the source.
